Accountable Care Collaborative Program Manager, Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing

Marceil Case works in the Health Programs Office at the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, the agency that administers the state's Medicaid, Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+), and Colorado Indigent Care programs. She is primarily responsible for managing the Department’s Accountable Care Collaborative program and coordinating the work of Regional Care Collaborative Organizations with existing and future health reform initiatives. Prior to this position, Marceil managed the Department’s behavioral health organization contractors and was heavily involved in behavioral health policy development for Medicaid members. Marceil represents the Department on Colorado’s Behavioral Health Transformation Council, focusing on alignment of policies, funding streams, and systems that serve the behavioral health needs of Coloradans.Prior to joining the Department, Marceil worked as a market research analyst for Policy Studies, a privately owned company that provides outsourcing, consulting, and information technology services to government clients. She also worked for five years as a staff occupational therapist on the inpatient unit at Colorado Psychiatric Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
