Applications for MICHL 7

The Massachusetts Institute for Community Health Leadership (MICHL) now has over 100 graduates from six cohorts of the program. We are now recruiting for the seventh MICHL program that will begin in the fall of 2012. This is an opportunity for emerging leaders in a variety of community-based health care settings in Massachusetts to participate in leadership training with a new cohort of professionals experiencing many of the same challenges, demands, and benefits of this work. Not only will you have the opportunity to join a network of emerging leaders across the state, but your growth and engagement in the program that begins with the initial nine-month event will extend for many years as a result of building a supportive group of contacts.

In addition, you will have access to a highly skilled, committed and diverse faculty who are dedicated to enhancing your leadership competencies and introducing you to new practices and strategies that will ultimately benefit your organization. MICHL promotes learning and implementing collaborative leadership, which is critical to working in a complex and dynamic health care industry.

The application process begins with completing the attached form (MICHL 7 Application) and submitting it to the BCBSMA Foundation by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012.  We encourage you to review the Curriculum and Faculty descriptions and become acquainted with the richness and unique scope of learning that defines this program.

If you have additional questions please address them to Michael McCormack .
